SUMMER SCHOOL fun with the 1st graders! Today we focused on Goldilocks & the 3 Bears. We painted bear banks to collect money (for prizes), retold the story with puppets, and built & tested chairs for our STEAM activity. We did a math talk & started our DINO box. Busy day!❤️💙

On Monday June 19, there was a communication error from Second Harvest Food Bank about the weekly meal delivery program. We sincerely apologize for the confusion. Staff from Second Harvest were supposed to be at the park and deliver, but they had some miscommunication on their part and we understand that there was no delivery. Monday meal deliveries will continue at the DeGraff Park and will resume this Monday and continue as previously planned. Go Pirates!
Riverside boys bowling team will be competing at Nationals this weekend at Beaver-vu in Fairfield OH. Spectators are welcome for 5$ admission. Team event is Sat. @ 2pm and individuals Sun. @ 8am. Advances will bowl again Monday!! Good luck fellas and coach!! Go Pirates 🎳

Congratulations to Riverside senior Alaina Snow. Alaina was selected by the Southwest District Athletic Board to receive a $1000 scholarship. The SWDAB will recognize scholarship recipients at a program on June 22 in Dayton.

Class of 2023: Don't forget to swing by the school and get your graduation pic. This is a free 5x7. They can be picked up at Mrs. Heath's desk by 3:30pm.
Second Harvest Food Bank will be delivering weekly meal bags on Mondays every week of the summer from 11:30- 12:30 at the De Graff Park. Members of Riverside Local Schools will be at the park to hand out the meal bags. Every child is eligible for a bag containing five breakfasts and five lunches. Adults and parents may pick up bags for children in their household.
Weekend bags will also be available if the parent/guardian fills out a one-page form for eligibility. The weekend bags contain extra meals and snacks to help throughout the weekend.
We encourage all our families to come receive this gift during these summer weeks.
This program will run from June 4 - August 7.
