
The second graders have been reading and learning about bees this week. Officer Jean gave an awesome presentation about bees. The students loved tasting the delicious honey!!

I'm continuously AMAZED at how my 1st graders solve addition/subtraction problems!!! ❤️💙 Gabe explained (in blue) how he solved 44-36. We wanted to know the difference of today's morning temperature and yesterday's morning temperature. We're working hard on number sense!🏴☠️

Riverside Junior Bowler Kyleigh Duff, bowled at the SW District Tournament Wednesday at Beaver-Vu Lanes. Kyleigh finished in 63rd place out of 157 bowlers. Great Job Kyleigh!

Riverside Right to Read Week Feb.27th- March 3rd


Congratulations to the Riverside Boys' Bowling Team. The Pirates WON the District Championship today at Beaver-Vu Bowl in Beavercreek. The Riverside team total was 4030; Sam King had a 621 series and was 5th on the all-tournament team. The team will now bowl in the state tournament on Saturday, March 4 at Wayne Webb Bowl in Columbus. More info to follow. Great Job!


Riverside's sectional boys; tournament game tonight vs. Botkins at Piqua H.S. will be covered tonight live and online via ScoresBroadcast.com at approximately 7 PM.

First graders had fun sorting and graphing candy hearts, decorating heart cookies, and of course, passing out Valentines.




The Riverside Boys' Bowling team won the SW District Division II Sectional Championship Thursday at Poelking Marian Lanes in Huber Heights. This is the first bowling sectional championship in school history.
The Pirates came out on fire, shooting team games of 1105, breaking the school record, then shot 1072, and 1089 to take an early lead. After 6 baker games, the Pirates came out on top as the 2023 Sectional Champions!! Gage Stevenson had a 588 series, Tyler Knight had a 693 series, Zander Crouch had a 677 series, Sam King had a 696 series and Andrew Knight led the Pirates with a 701 series.
The Pirates will now bowl in the SW District Tournament on Tuesday, February 21st at Beaver-Vu Bowl Lanes in Beavercreek. Great Job Pirates!

Leah Burden and Hayden Gammell represented Riverside today for the Senior of the Month Kiwanis Club Luncheon.



Good luck to Coach Sanford and Coach Burchett and the Freshman Team in their second tournament game tonight at Miami East starting at 5 pm.


Members of the Lady Pirates high school girls basketball team recently served at the Five Loaves Food Pantry in Quincy. It was a really good experience for the players. Great job Lady Pirates!

Riverside Spring Athletics: Parent Meeting & Team Meetings: Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditeria. The parent meeting at 6:30 pm is ONLY for any spring athletes/parents that HAVE NOT played a sport yet during this school year.
Team Meetings will start around 7:00 pm and are MANDATORY for all spring athletes.
