The girls team of Maggie Beaty with a time 37:00.8 and Kristen Thompson with a time of 37:01.3.
Next Saturday, September 20th, the team will head to the Ohio Cavern's Invitational.

The Riverside Lady Pirates played Miami East at Cherokee Hills on Thursday. Miami East won the match by a score of 200-212. The 212 was the team's low score for the season. The Lady Pirates celebrated senior night and recognized senior Reaghan McDaniel for her tremendous accomplishments during her Riverside golf career. Reaghan has been the dominant girls golfer in the area and in the Three Rivers Conference the past 4 years. Reaghan holds all of the individual golf records for Riverside girls' golf.
Reaghan shot a 38 and was the match medalist. Also for the Lady Pirates, Adalynn Calaway shot a 55, Lei Hurley had a 56, Whitney Leatherman shot a personal best 63, and Grace Owen shot a 74. The Lady Pirates finished their TRC season with a 6-4 record, good for 3rd place.

The Riverside Boys Golf team hosted Miami East and fell 174-203. For Riverside Hayden McCully 44, Syler Clark 49, David Gross 50, Hayden Sanford 60, Daniel Esh 61 Zane Armbruster 62 and Karston Duckro 69. This was the last home match for our two seniors. McCully and Sanford. These boys will be missed, and we wish them all the best in the future!!

High School Student Council held their 2nd meeting to announce officers, choose a Homecoming dance theme, and go over the Homecoming agenda. They finished off the meeting with a group bonding activity.

The Riverside Lady Pirates played Covington at Echo Hills Golf Course on Tuesday. The Lady Pirates won the match by a score of 226-230. Reaghan McDaniel was the match medalist, shooting a 38. Also for the Lady Pirates: Lei Hurley-57, Adalynn Calaway-64, Whitney Leatherman-67, Grace Owen shot a personal best 67. The Lady Pirates are now 6-3 in the TRC.

Riverside Music Booster is seeking volunteers to help run the football concession stand. It takes at least 10 people to serve. All elementary students, Jr. high band & choir students and high school band & choir student benefit form the proceeds of the concession stand..

The Lady Pirates presented Riverside Head Volleyball Coach Ashley Borchers with a game ball from her first Varsity Volleyball win. The Lady Pirates defeated Northridge on August 28 for Coach Borchers first win.
Ashley was an all-state volleyball player from Russia H.S. She was a setter and played volleyball in college at Ohio Northern University in the Ohio Athletic Conference. During her senior season at ONU, Ashley was named 2nd Team All-America by the American Volleyball Coaches Association for 2016. Coach Borchers was a 3-time All-OAC honoree and a 2-time 1st Team AVCA All-Great Lakes Region honoree. During her senior season, she led the team with 1032 assists and ranked first on the team and in the OAC with a .398 hitting percentage. Ashley was the 2016 OAC Co-Player of the Year and is still ranked 7th all-time at ONU in assists. She led ONU in assists during her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. During her career at ONU, the team was 89-28 overall and 30-6 in the OAC. During her senior season, ONU went 27-4 and 9-0 in the OAC to win the league championship.
