As we wrap up School-Based Health Center Awareness Month, Community Health & Wellness Partners wanted to share a brief summary of what took place across our SBHC sites.
This year’s theme, “Stronger Together – Building Healthy Futures for Every Child,” was reflected through several simple activities:
Creative Corner Activity: Each SBHC Team invited students and staff to add drawings, positive notes, and thank‑you messages on their health center door throughout the month.
Wellness Welcome Day: Students received calm kits with stress balls, fidgets, coloring pages, and other calming‑technique resources to support their wellness throughout the month.
Kindness & Connections Day: We delivered small appreciation snack baskets to our school partners as a thank-you for your ongoing partnership.
Thank you for helping us make SBHC Awareness Month meaningful.

TRC Leadership Conference
Riverside student-athletes attended the 4th annual TRC Leadership Conference on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The event was held at the Arbogast Performing Arts Center (Troy Christian). The athletes participated in several leadership sessions as well as break-out sessions to discuss the information with other students. They also had the opportunity to hear guest speaker Wes Martin (pictured with RHS students) talk about important leadership skills that have benefitted him throughout his experiences. Wes is a former Milton-Union football player who played college football at Indiana University and was a 4th round draft pick of the Washington Redskins. Each TRC school sends students from grades 8-11 for the conference.
The athletes also participated in various competitions throughout the day. For Riverside, Madison Schindewolf, Bella Robinson, and Karston Duckro all won gift cards. Keira Manahan won the big gift card, a $50 Amazon card, for collecting the most bead necklaces by playing rock-paper-scissors throughout the day.
