Life reminders from a first grader…
Today one of my little guys told me he wanted to buy two yellow crayons. When asked why, he said his 2 friends needed them. I reminded him he could buy prizes. He said he didn’t need a prize… he wanted to take care of his friends. ❤️

Miss Bella looks soooo excited to be sharing her homework pic with me!! My students earn 50 cents when I receive a video of them reading their decodable homework and 25 cents for each picture. Hard work pays off!!! Although it’s fake money, the life lessons are so
real!❤️🏴☠️💙

Miss Sophia was excited to share how much her plant has grown in the two short weeks she’s had it. I share in her excitement… observing how much my students have grown has been such a joy already!! I can’t wait to watch them continue to blossom throughout this school year!

Grayson is working hard in First grade! He knows it pays to work hard… it helps him become a great reader AND he gets “paid” in the classroom to do his homework! He’s earning money to take care of his needs and wants. Way to go, Mr. Zook!
