Riverside Athletic Hall of Fame: Riverside inducted Mike Custer into the Riverside Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, October 14, 2022. Mike lives in Arizona and was not able to make it to our scheduled ceremony. Mike graduated from Riverside in 1972. Mike played football, basketball, and track at Riverside. Highlights: In the high jump-Mike still holds the Riverside record at 6'6" and finished 3rd in the state; Mike was WCOC all-league in track, football, and basketball. Mike currently still holds the Capital University high jump record of 6'8 3/4"; Mike won every conference meet in the high jump while at Capital. He was a 3-year letterman in track and basketball at Capital. Congratulations Mike!

On Friday, first graders enjoyed learning about South America and the warmth of the sun. We heard stories, worked as teams to play Kahoot (which was our 1st time doing this and it was a blast!), did some writing activities, and made s’mores using solar ovens! Friday was a TREAT!

Don't forget tonight is Senior Night for Fall Athletes! These students are looking forward to a big crowd, so make sure you come early at 6 PM to celebrate these hard working kids and their parents ( fall athelete parents meet Mrs. Jenkins at the track by 5:45).


Yesterday, during our Math Talk, Shelby, Sophia, and Avery demonstrated how when people are shown the same math problem or pic, initially they all are “seeing” it differently! Some may focus first on the sum of the button holes while others start to find ways to add. Great talk!

Friday night at the varsity football game we are celebrating senior night. All fall senior athletes/marching band members will be recognized before the game.

Our Fall Senior Athletes will walk across the field, and we need a big crowd to cheer them on!
