2. How long with Riverside?
This makes my 7th year working here at Riverside.
3. Family?
I have been married to my husband Rick for almost 40 years now. We have three fantastic children;Ashley, Eric and Brittany. We also have a son-in-law,Greg and a soon to be son-in-law Jim. We have been blessed with 8 beautiful grandchildren;Laileigh(16),Cooper(14),Mckenna(10),Sawyer(8),Oakley(6),Josie(4),Boone(2) and Delaney who is almost 5 months. It is the best feeling in the world to have 8 littles call me ‘mamaw’!!!
4. Hobies.
My hobbies include camping, reading and spending time with my family.
5. Favorites (food, holiday, etc)?
My favorite holiday is Easter! I love this holiday because it s the time of year that everything becomes new again. I just love seeing all the flowers and trees come alive and remembering the true meaning of this holiday. I also enjoy spending the day with my family.
6. Favorite Co-workers why?
As for favorite co-workers I can’t name just one. When I first started here I had a few ladies who helped showed me the ropes and taught me a lot;my sister Sherry,Pam Pope and Jamee Cafe’. I miss all three of them!! But right now we have a great crew also (The Lunch Bunch) and these ladies aren’t just my co-workers; they have all become good friends!!
7. What is it about Riverside that makes you want to stay a Pirate.
I have always been a Pirate and that will never change! I was born and raised right here in DeGraff and graduated from the old school in ‘83. My husband and my children are also Riverside graduates. So this is home to me and where I plan to stay. I really enjoy all the kids and getting to have those few minutes everyday at breakfast and lunch interacting with them while we serve them a healthy, delicious meal!!!

In ADDITION to our other pumpkin activities, we sorted seeds into 10 frames to count 100 pumpkin seeds! 💙🎃❤️

Mr. Yoder,
I just wanted to reach out as a parent and let you and your kids know that they are true sportsmen.
I am a parent of a senior football player from St. Henry. I want to point out what I saw that made my first statement so prevalent. First, we walked into your home field greeted with friendly faces. There was no hostility like we face with our MAC teams. Secondly, when our team was on the ground after a play, your players made sure to step in and lend a hand to get them back up. Third, your coach was passionate about his players. As a swim coach, I know that passion. That fire is something I know I would be willing to play for. Lastly, as I was waiting for my son to come off the field, I saw the heartbreak of many of your players and the consoling parents absorbing the loss. I know that feeling may come at any given time to our team as well. But, rather than glares, we were greeted with congrats and healthy discussions from your parents.
This means a lot. You should be proud of your school and the community. Sadly, all of this is not something we get to see in our league all of the time. We could learn a lesson or two about being true sportsmen.
Great Job Pirates!
