The Riverside Lady Pirates had a great night at Cherokee Hills on Thursday. The Lady Pirates beat Bethel by a score of 193-204. The 193 was 13 strokes better than their previous low team score. Reaghan McDaniel was medalist with a 37; Kenna Johnson set a new personal best with a 49; Zoie Armbruster shot a 51; Kirstyn Carpenter-56, Lei Hurley-63, and Adalynn Calaway-63 all shot a personal best.
The Riverside National Honors Society will be hosting a blood drive Weds Sept 4th from 8am to 2pm in the high school gym. You can go online and sign up with American Red Cross or email aphelps@rlspirates.org with the time you would like to donate.
The Lady Pirates golf team traveled to Echo Hills on Tuesday to take on the Covington Buccs in a TRC match. The Lady Pirates were victorious, winning by a score of 216-242. Reaghan McDaniel was the medalist with a 41. Also for the Lady Pirates: Kenna Johnson shot a 56; Zoie Armbruster had a 57; Kirstyn Carpenter shot a 62; Lei Hurley had a 64 and Adalynn Calaway shot a personal best 66.

The Riverside Lady Pirates golf team defeated Miami East Monday in a TRC match at Lakeland Golf Course. The Lady Pirates won by a score of 216-233. Reaghan McDaniel was the match medalist with a 43. Kenna Johnson shot a 52; Zoie Armbruster had a 60; Kirstyn Carpenter shot a 61; Lei Hurley and Adalynn Calaway both shot a 70.

The Riverside Lady Pirates golf team played in the 18-hole Graham Invitational on Saturday at Lakeland Golf Course. The Lady Pirates shot a 425 as a team, which was 12 shots better than their season best for 18 holes. The Lady Pirates finished in 7th place out of 15 teams. Reaghan McDaniel shot an 80 and finished 3rd in the invitational out of 73 golfers.. Reaghan also tied a school record for 9 holes, shooting a 36 on the front nine. Kenna Johnson shot a 104, which was her personal best by 11 strokes. Kenna also established a personal best for 9 holes with a 51 on the back nine. Zoie Armbruster shot a 117; Kirstyn Carpenter fired a 124, shooting a personal best 55 on the front nine; Lei Hurley shot a personal best 130 beating her previous best by 19 strokes; Adalynn Calaway shot a 148. The Lady Pirates will play again at Lakeland on Monday in a TRC match against Miami East.

Kenna Johnson tied her personal best with a 53; Zoie Armbruster shot a 57; Kirstyn Carpenter had a 61; Lei Hurley shot a personal best 64 and recorded her first par. Adalynn Calaway shot a 77.
