Riverside Lady Pirate senior Reaghan McDaniel sets Record
The Riverside Lady Pirates played in the Covington Lady Bucc Invitational on Monday. The Lady Pirates finished with a team score of 451, which was good for 13th place out of the 17 teams. Riverside senior Reaghan McDaniel set a new Riverside girls golf record with an 18-hole score of 76. She finished in 3rd place out of 89 golfers. Adalynn Calaway finished 42nd and shot a career best 109 for 18 holes, beating her previous best by 11 strokes. She also shot a 50 on the back 9, beating her previous 9-hole score by 9 strokes. Lei Hurley finished 63rd with a score of 122, which was a personal best. Her 57 on the back 9 was also a personal best for 9 holes. The Lady Pirates traveled to the Urbana Country Club on Wednesday to play the Mechanicsburg Indians. The Indians won the match by a score of 232-259. Reaghan McDaniel was the match medalist, shooting a 37. Also for Riverside: Lei Hurley-70, Adalynn Calaway-75, Whitney Leatherman-77, Grace Owen-81.

Riverside Boys golf team opened the season with a loss to Indian Lake 210-174. Hayden McCully 44, Hayden Sanford 49, Syler Clark 54, David Gross 63 Zane Armbruster 65 and Karston Duckro 73.
