2020 Graduation Options

You must take and pass all Riverside/State required classes (22 credits), take all 7 EOC’s (retake EOC’s that are have scores of 1’s and 2’s) and...



Option #1 - End-of-Course Exams

Earn a total of 18 points with a total of 4 points in Math, 4 points in ELA, and 6 points in Science & Social Studies.

Option #2 - Industry Recognized Credential/WorkKeys testing (Hi-Point programs)

You would need to earn 12 credential points AND 13 points on the WorkKeys tests (Score of at least 3 in each subject).

Option #3 - ACT scores

You need remediation free scores in Math, English, and Reading.

Option #4 - Meet at least two of the following requirements.


_____ Earn a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale during your 11th and 12th years combined (must be a full-time 

student each year)

_____ During your Senior year complete work or community service experience of at least 120 hours. 

Documentation from employer or Volunteer Coordinator required.

_____ Earn 3 or more CCP credits during your high school career

_____ Complete the Riverside Capstone Project during your Senior year. See Mrs. Allen and Mrs. 

Kauffman for more details. This is an extensive and detailed project that will require a lot of work.

_____ Meet OhioMeansJobs Readiness Seal requirements


Career Technical Students


Students must take and pass courses that constitute the curriculum requirements and take all seven end-of-course exams. Students must finish a career-technical program that includes at least four courses in a single career pathway and complete at least one of the options below:


 • Earn a total score of Proficient or better based on all career technical exams or test modules; 

•  Earn an industry-recognized credential or credentials that equal 12 points; 

• Complete a workplace experience totaling 250 hours with evidence of positive evaluations.
