Spring is almost here, and our P.T.O. is back in full gear! We did not have a meeting in January due to winter break, inclement weather, and no school on Dr. Martin Luther King Day. Then, school was cancelled, due to inclement weather, the day of our February meeting. The officers made an impromptu decision to go ahead with the meeting, and have it at the DeGraff Creamery. Thanks to all those that were in attendance on such short notice! We only have 3 meetings left for this school year! The March meeting will be held Monday the 5th. Our April meeting will be Monday the 9th, due to no school on the 2nd. Our last meeting of the school year will be held Monday May 7th. There are a lot of exciting upcoming events, so we hope you can attend one of our meetings to learn more!
The P.T.O. has a few events happening in March and April! Come see a Norwex demonstration at our March meeting! We are doing a small fundraiser with our PTO members and friends. Join us at our March meeting to learn more, and bring a friend!! PTO will have ‘The Leggo Man’ on Tuesday March 20th for an interactive assembly for students, and a family night presentation that evening. Thursday March 22nd will be the 3rd 9 weeks Awards Assembly. Friday March 23rd the Pre-K through 4th class parties will be held at 1:45. Please park in the North parking lot. Monday March 26th is the Annual PTO Skating Night at the Sidney rink. Friday April 6th the 5th and 6th grade class parties will be held. Look for more information to come home with students!
COSI on Wheels was at the school on Tuesday February 13th. A big ‘thanks’ goes out to all our parent volunteers that made the day possible for our students! We’d also like to thank Ron’s Pizza of DeGraff for our wonderful lunch! A huge “THANK YOU!” goes to Mrs. Wilkinson for writing the grant that covered most of the cost to bring COSI on Wheels to our school!!
Keep sending in those Box Tops! We just had our spring submission of Box Tops, but we continue to collect them all year long. Another submission will be made at the end of the school year, and we are still counting to see which grade level will be our winner for our school year contest! Right now, 4th grade is in the lead! Thank you to Mrs. Paula Bell, our Box Tops Coordinator, for all the time spent to get our Box Tops submitted!
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming meetings! Sincerely~The P.T.O. Officers
