Habitat Webquest

Introduction

You have been chosen to return 5 of the animals below back to their proper home environment. To complete the task, you must explore animal habitats around the world.

Task

The objectives of your activity are to:

	Identify the animals shown below and then help 5 of them find their way home.
	Use the Internet, classroom, and library resources to locate the home of each animal.
	Identify 3 plants and 3 other animals that live in the same habitat with the animal shown.

Project 1

Look at the pictures of the animals below. Use the Animal Habitat Identification Form to write down the names of each animal. Click on the picture and use your resources to help you identify the habitat of each animal. Then find 3 other animals and 3 plants that also might be found in the animals' habitat.

Project 2

After getting the animals back to their homes and completing the Animal Habitat Identification Form, pick one of the habitats you discovered in your journey around the world and create a Diorama of the habitat. Below are a couple of links to learn to make a Diorama.
